When I heard that Ram Dass had passed I immediately started reading his book “Be Love Now” to be closer to him and honor his passing.
It’s my favorite book of his. Story after story of how he sought enlightment and even his thoughts if he was ever going to reach enlightment.
He lived his life seeking love. Universal love in the world. And I believe he found it thru his books and talks.
Be Love Now isn’t his most popular book. “Be Here Now” is his famous book and is still his number one best seller, but I found “Be Love Now” to be more heartfelt.
Whether he found enlightenment or not I don’t know. The people that do have no ego and don’t go around saying they have, so we’ll never know. I am sure he made great progress.
