Preventing disk crashes

You can mirror your hard drives. You can take two hard drives that to your computer looks like one hard drive. When you create files they are really recorded on both hard drives. If one hard drive fails there is no problem because your data is on the other hard drive. You just need to replace the bad hard drive. You can use just the one hard drive until you get another hard drive to replace the bad one, but I would recommend you replace it as soon as possible.

Of course, don’t forget to backup your data because of theft and fire. Your backups are very valuable if your computer is stolen or burns up in a fire.

The chances of both of your hard drives failing at the same time is extremely low and you don’t have to worry about your hard drives failing again. If you are running a business you need to mirror your hard drives. The risk is too high for you not to mirror.
